The assembly process determines the operating flexibility, use comfort and product consistency of wheelchairs. In order to realize standardized mass production, our factory adopts advanced modular assembly production mode. We split the whole wheelchair into multiple independent modules including frame module, walking wheel module, braking module, cushion module and armrest footrest module. Each module is produced and processed in a special production workshop, and all accessories are manufactured in strict accordance with unified industrial standards to ensure the interchangeability of parts. Before assembly, all accessories such as bearings, brake handles, universal wheels, solid tires, high-density cushions and connecting screws will undergo secondary screening to eliminate unqualified accessories with surface defects, inflexible movement and substandard hardness.
The assembly line is arranged in a scientific flow direction, and each assembly station is equipped with professional assembly tools and torque locking instruments. Workers complete the assembly of fixed modules according to standardized operation guidelines. In the assembly process of key connecting parts such as folding rotating shaft and wheel bearing, we use constant torque electric wrenches to lock screws, and the locking torque is strictly controlled within the standard range to avoid part loosening caused by excessive vibration or thread sliding caused by excessive locking force. For the humanized accessory configuration, we optimize the design from the perspective of user experience. The high-density rebound cushion is filled with high-elastic sponge, which is covered with breathable and wear-resistant leather material. It fits the hip and spine curve of the human body, effectively reducing sitting fatigue and avoiding pressure sores caused by long-term sitting.
The brake system is equipped with high-sensitivity mechanical brakes, which can realize one-hand quick braking and locking. The brake grip is wrapped with non-slip soft rubber to adapt to users with different hand strengths. The wear-resistant solid tires are designed with anti-slip texture, which can smoothly pass through uneven roads such as lawns, gravel roads and slope roads. The adjustable footrest and detachable armrest greatly improve the convenience of getting on and off the wheelchair. After the assembly of all modules is completed, the assembly inspector conducts overall debugging on the finished wheelchair, including wheel flexibility detection, brake sensitivity test, folding smoothness detection and accessory firmness inspection. All unqualified assembled products will be returned to the assembly line for re-debugging. The standardized modular assembly not only improves production efficiency and shortens delivery cycle, but also ensures the consistent operating feel of each wheelchair. The humanized accessory matching makes our products suitable for the elderly, disabled and patients with limited mobility, meeting the diversified purchasing needs of medical distributors and daily commodity wholesalers in global markets.
